Frontera Hunting offers fully guided wild turkey hunts on California’s Central Coast. The two-day hunt covers the subregions of the land where the Rio Grande Turkey are abundant yet hidden among the large oak trees, rolling hills, sagebrush, and freshwater streams. These ideal elements make for an unforgettable hunting experience.
Each hand-picked property is tended to by the Frontera team ensuring proper wildlife management and the ultimate hunting experience.
The guided hunts are allotted two days to make sure our guests have a successful trip. However, due to the abundance of wild turkey located on the private land and our guides’ experience and knowledge, the majority of the hunts are successfully accomplished within the first day with the use of proper turkey calling and well placed decoys.
Our success rate is 99% and hunters can expect to see an average of 10-20 birds. Most hunters will combine a turkey hunt with a wild boar hunt to complete the experience and fully enjoy all of the benefits this beautiful region has to offer.

All hunters must be 9 years and older.
Game Limits
Daily Bag Limit: 1 Bearded
Possession Limit: 3 per season, combined
Wounded Turkey Policy:
If a turkey is hit and not able to be found by the guide, you will be held accountable. You will have to claim the wounded animal as your harvest.
